VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — 2008 NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE CONFERENCE
The Metropolitan Orlando Urban League is pleased to serve as the host affiliate for the 2008 National Urban League Annual Conference and we need your support. The conference will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, July 30 – August 2.
Hundreds of volunteers are needed to help make the event a success and Hands on Orlando is pleased to assist in this recruitment effort. Hands on Orlando is a non-profit organization that identifies, plans, manages and leads high quality volunteer projects that engage thousands of individuals, families, groups and companies in meaningful hands-on experiences that improve The Human Condition.
By getting involved as a volunteer for the Conference, you will have fun, change lives and empower people in communities across the United States. Among the many benefits of volunteering, volunteers who help at the conference receive a badge that entitles them to free general admission to plenary & workshop sessions, including the Presidential plenary on Friday, August 1, 2008.
There are a variety of opportunities to serve. To sign up, please visit www.volunteer.biz.
